Title: Direct measurements of the information processing that underlies decision-making

Host: Joe Kable

Abstract: Computational analyses applied to neural ensemble recording data allows us to directly observe how information is processed in decision-making systems even in non-human species, such as the rat.   We will use these analyses to identify specific cognitive processes that underlie decision-making, including deliberation, automation, strategy-selection, and regret.
